Retrofit Administrator | Location Chelmsford, UK | Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage retrofit project records in line with PAS 2035, TrustMark, and funding body requirements.
- Coordinate and track documentation including retrofit assessments, designs, risk assessments, method statements, certifications, and completion packs.
- Support Retrofit Coordinators and Project Managers with programme administration, appointment scheduling, and workflow tracking.
- Act as an administrative liaison between internal teams, residents, assessors, designers, installers, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate data entry and document control across project management and compliance systems.
- Assist with audit preparation, quality checks, and evidence collation for client, funder, and scheme audits.
- Provide clear administrative support to ensure timely reporting, invoicing readiness, and handover documentation.
Requirements:
- 3+ years previous experience in administration
- Experience in the retrofit sector
- Document control experience.
- Strong administrative experience, ideally within construction, retrofit, housing, or property services.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation skills and document control capability.
- Confident use of IT systems, databases, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks to deadlines.
Contracts Manager | Location Chelmsford, UK | Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple small projects (typically £50k–£2M) concurrently across Essex and the South East.
- Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Review contract documentation (JCT, NEC or similar) and ensure compliance with terms and specifications.
- Lead progress meetings with clients, consultants and internal teams.
- Plan resources and labour effectively to maintain productivity and programme targets.
- Monitor project performance, cost control, and quality assurance in line with company procedures.
- Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring delivery aligns with scope and programme.
- Support tendering, estimating, and programme development for upcoming projects.
- Provide leadership to site teams, ensuring professional conduct and consistent delivery.
- Identify and manage variations, risks, and opportunities to maximise project outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records, reporting regularly to senior management on progress and performance.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Contracts Manager or Senior Site Manager role.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and building regulations.
- Proven experience managing budgets, programmes and client relationships.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence.

Site Supervisor | Location Chelmsford, UK | Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising day to day site operations across a range of responsive repairs, refurbishment and planned works.
• Ensuring works are completed to specification, to programme and in line with client requirements.
• Completing daily site inspections, quality checks and maintaining accurate site records.
• Coordinating directly employed trades and subcontractors.
• Maintaining a safe working environment, ensuring RAMS, inductions, permits and compliance documents are fully in place.
• Providing regular updates to the Contracts Manager, including progress reports and photographs.
• Liaising with residents, clients and stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner.
• Supporting handovers, snagging, and ensuring zero defects at completion.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in construction or social housing.
• Strong understanding of health and safety requirements including RAMS, permits, site inductions and general compliance.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
• Good communication and people skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• SSSTS is required
• Experience within social housing repairs or planned works is an advantage.
